Travel Adventures: New York City, USA.

I have family who live in Roselle Park, New Jersey and it is a little less than an hour’s bus ride to New York City.

Anytime I have a chance to visit them, I always try to throw in a visit to NYC. Visiting the city is always exciting because I usually have a plan on a particular place to go or fun thing to do.

My last trip to NYC was so much fun. My dear friend Ayo met up with me from Minneapolis and we decided to go on a boat cruise this time.

 

The bus stops us at The Port Authority, right in Manhattan so we hail a yellow cab like we see it done in the movies and head out to our destination.

 

We missed the boat we had planned to take because the traffic in Manhattan is out of this world especially on a Saturday afternoon so we had to wait for the next one.

 

I decided to try out the famous NYC street hot dogs and it was a disappointment. At least now I know…….

 

The boat ride was fantastic. There was a restaurant on the boat so we had lunch and enjoyed the view of the city from the boat. 

 

 

As the sun began to set, the view of the city was so beautiful.

It was a fun trip and I look forward to visiting NYC in the near future.
