The RovingBookworm Podcast: Episode 1 – The Courage To Be You!

Welcome to the RovingBookworm Podcast!

Hello everyone,

I just started my Podcast and this has been a long way coming.

Although my love for books and poetry is my inspiration for this podcast, this is not a podcast about books and poetry.

Rather, we will be talking, ranting, raving and exploring diverse themes and life lessons inspired by books, fictional characters and poetry.

The idea for this podcast comes from my endless ramblings to my long suffering husband (bless his heart) about everything and nothing driven by strong and sometimes subtle themes from a book I am reading or one I have read in the past. I would usually go on and on, analyzing and trying to understand a character’s motive to make certain decisions, e.t,c. and some of these thoughts I usually can’t express in my book reviews because they may give out too much about the story and become spoilers or may seem like I am digressing from the story.

I plan that this podcast will bring to life interesting perspectives from fiction to real life and hopefully it would be something worth your while.

So, join me on this journey as I host you either alone or with a guest as we discover new ways to make our lives more beautiful.

This first episode features me alone, talking about a topic that is very important to me.

‘The Courage To Be You’

My inspiration comes from a book I read last year titled ‘Girl Stop Apologizing’ by Rachel Hollis (Check out my review of this book HERE) and Maya Angelou’s poem titled ‘Still I Rise’
