“Sex On The Couch” is an essential resource for couples who are about to get married, newly weds and oldies in the marriage scene like me. It is as she rightly called it a “DIY Sex Guide” that explains the act of sex from so many perspectives while incorporating some scriptures from the bible that refer to sexual intimacy between lovers. Although things have changed a great deal in the last 20 years with regards to discussions around sex in our society, most people still feel uncomfortable anytime the topic is raised especially within religious circles. The author made the read more interesting by telling several stories about her personal sexual experiences, using graphic images to explain sexual positions and also giving vivid description even for pregnant women and first timers. Despite my 17 years of marriage, there were still many take-aways from this book and it is definitely not a one time read but a book that one needs to go back to from time to time.
I highly recommend this book to all men and women alike but note that this is an adult book and should be read by only people of ages 18 years and above.
