Top Ten Tuesday: Books That Made Me Laugh Out Loud

Hello everyone,

I hope you are all having a great week so far.

Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday and a new month. I hope you enjoyed May, though a short month. Wishing you all a blessed June.

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

The Topic This Week Is:

Books That Made Me Laugh Out Loud

Ben Elton is usually my go-to person when it comes to books that really make me laugh out loud. This one was seriously hilarious and you can check out my review of this book in “Book Reviews” on my blog.

I loved reading this book. The fantastic thing about the main characters in the story is that they were so funny without meaning to be. I have re-read this book several times and hope to do so in the near future.

I love satires and this is the father of them. As a Nigerian, living in Nigeria, I could relate to almost everything the author expressed in this book and oh my Gosh, this got me laughing my head off.

This book is one of my favorite books of all time. It is filled with dark humor but it is humor all the same. Read multiple times and will continue to read at least once every year.

Reading this book opened a whole new world of Asian culture I was never exposed to. Most importantly, it was written in a very witty manner with fun characters that will make you laugh out loud. Definitely reading again soon. Check out my review of this one in “Book Reviews” on this blog.

A number of reviews I have read on this book gave a sad vibe to it but I had a totally deferent experience. I found Ove’s character very funny and he made me laugh almost through out the story. I guess I always find humor in things no matter how bad they may seem. Check out my review in “Book Reviews” on this blog.

I recently read this book and I was thrilled by the laughter it brought into my life. I also loved the fact that it was set in the city I was born and bred which made it so close to home for me. Check out my review in “Book Reviews” on this blog.

I have never quite thought of poetry to be funny but this book changed my whole perspective and I kept on laughing from the first page until the end. I hope to write some witty poems in the near future.

Another one from Ben Elton. Controversial and funny as usual. I highly recommend.
