Enjoy!
This week I will be sharing a poem I recently wrote. I hope you like it too.
I Don’t Know Much
I don’t know much,
But this much I know for sure.
That whom much is given much is expected.
That the expectations of the righteous shall not be cut off.
That the effectual fervent prayers of a righteous man availeth much.
That man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.
That whom God has blessed no man can curse.
And the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.
That wisdom is a shelter and wealth is a shelter but wisdom is the principal thing.
That the thing that you fear the most has the most power over you.
That God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
That love covers a multitude of sins.
Yes!
I don’t know much,
But this much I know for sure.
That Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life.
That the word of truth will set you free.
That the word of God is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
That light and darkness can not work together.
That together we stand and divided we fall.
That all things work together for good for those who love God.
That for everything under the sun, there is a time and season.
That I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
That nothing is impossible with God.
I really really don’t know much,
But this much I know for sure.
That love is a decision.
And love is kind, believeth all things, beareth all things, hopeth all things.
That love never fails.
Because God is love,
And I am nothing without God.
I don’t know much,
But these random things I know for sure.
That no hard work is in vain.
That the borrower is servant to the lender.
That the blessings of the Lord maketh rich and it added no sorrow.
That if you do not value yourself then no one will.
That we came into this world with nothing and with nothing shall we leave.
