Enjoy!

This week I will be sharing a poem I recently wrote. I hope you like it too.

Beauty is………….

Beauty is,

What pleases the eyes, delights the mind and warms the heart

It is,

The sun rising over the hills,

Shifting colors from red to florid orange and bleak golden,

And then, it sets.

Sinking below the horizon,

Tranquil, gorgeous.

Beauty is,

Rivers meandering into the ocean,

Embracing each flow into its endless depths.

Water, tumbling down a mountain,

Showering onto a clear bliss-pool beneath.

Surrounded by lush green pasture.

Beauty is,

A garden, of roses, Lilies, carnations, jasmines and sun flowers.

A butterfly, colors and art, tattooed by God on its wings.

The rains, and then a rainbow,

in all its glory,

as it spreads across the silvery sky.

Beauty is,

A new born, on her mother’s bosom.

Hands clasped, eyes closed, peaceful.

A bride in white,

angelic, graceful, floating down the aisle.

A man in love, looking with soft eyes,

into the face of his beloved.

An old couple, holding hands.

Children playing in the rain, running, laughing, carefree.

Beauty is…..

All creation, on the day the creator looked upon it all,

and said this is good.

Beauty is,

You and I,

and everything we think it is.
