Word Play Wednesday is a weekly feature of written and spoken word poetry. I will be sharing my written and spoken word poems in addition to poems by other wonderful Poets both past and present. This week I will be sharing my attempt to writing my first acrostic poem. I hope you like it too.
Rebirth
Return to the beginning.
Eat but never the things that made you sick.
Breath, never forget it keeps you alive.
Ignore the urge to journey back in time.
Remember, new beginnings are born out of courage and strength.
Teach your daughters how to stay clear of the highway.
Head north, it can only get better from here.
