I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. This is my first book by the author. However, this is the third book I am reading in this series (The Twin Bliss Resort Series) so I was quite excited to get into this one.
Muyiwa and Lucas have been married for five years and they seem to be the perfect celebrity couple. Lucas is the hottest male actor in Nollywood and Muyiwa is his ever supportive wife and social media expert who keeps him in the limelight at all times. In reality, things are not as good as they seem. Both Muyiwa and Lucas are at their wits end with how things in their marriage have turned out especially as Lucas continues to sow his wild oats all over Lagos. A friend of Lucas invites the couple to his luxurious resort in Bogota and they both arrive there with mixed feelings. Muyiwa decides it’s time to get her groove back at this beautiful resort but several unexpected events turn their trip into the most unforgettable event of their entire lives.
This is another great addition to the series and I enjoyed reading this story. It was well written and I loved Muyiwa’s character however, I wished it was more fast paced and slightly shorter. I found that some parts did not add much to the entire plot but I was glad that the author was able to hold the theme and the essence of the story up until the end without losing track. It was also very dramatic with lots of sex (so this is an Adult read!!!) literally through out the book so if this is your thing then you have more than enough to entertain you. There were also several funny parts that still come to my mind every now and then. Ultimately, it was worth my while and I recommend to all romance lovers.
