What do you like about buying books?
I love the prospect of reading another fantastic story, learning something new, travelling to someplace different, being entertained and so much more that I get out of books.
How often do you buy books?
I have a monthly subscription on Audible so I must get at least one audio book every month but I would say for physical books probably once in two months which is usually a huge haul.
Bookstore or online book shopping – which do you prefer?
I am not a big fan of going shopping for anything so definitely online book shopping works best for me.
Do you have a favorite bookshop?
No I don’t. However, I went to this bookstore last year in Abuja, Nigeria called ‘Spine and Label’ and I loved the ambience and there was a café so I thought, if I lived there I would probably come here often.
Do you pre-order books?
I usually pre-order books by my favorite authors who I literally have on author-buy and would read whatever they put forward.
Do you have a monthly book buying limit?
No I don’t. Since I don’t go book shopping every month, I don’t need a limit.
How big is your wish-list?
It’s a very short list (not more than 7 or 8 at a time) which I mostly keep on my Audible app to serve as a reminder of books I would like to buy.
