Hello everyone!
I hope your week has been good. I’m glad is the weekend already and I am looking forward to a restful weekend (hopefully).
This short article gives answers to one of the many questions I get asked a lot about reading. I hope these few tips will help you read better.
1

This has always worked for me. It’s easier to get bored when we try to read genres that we don’t really like but read because a particular book has been hyped and we want don’t want to feel left out. Most often than not, I have regretted this and I assure you that this is a highway ticket to getting bored while reading a book.
2

In our current fast-paced world, our minds are constantly filled will numerous things either relevant or irrelevant therefore, it is important for us to take a minute to clear our minds and keep it open for diving into the world of reading.
3

We now live in a world filled with so many distractions. There are loads of Apps, social media platforms, Netflix, e.t.c and it becomes difficult to switch-off from everything. Therefore we have to deliberately remove these distractions to give reading it’s well deserved concentration.
4

One of the things I enjoy the most about reading books is
5

It’s okay to take breaks. I would usually go make a cup of tea and get back to reading.
6

With so much to do these days, it’s easier to read in small manageable chunks. You can decide on how many chapters you would like to read everyday.
7

Doing this makes reading feel interactive and would usually help you concentrate more often than not.
I hope this helps.
Have a fabulous weekend!
