Hello Everyone,

I hope your week has been good.

Today, the spotlight is on Chimeka Garricks. He is the author of the highly acclaimed novel and short stories collection ‘Tomorrow Died Yesterday’ and ‘A Broken People’s Playlist’. Today, he is on the spotlight as he shared some great news with his fans on his social media platforms announcing the upcoming publication of his collection of short stories ‘A Broken People’s Playlist’ by Harper Via in the UK and USA. Here’s his statement below:

We are all elated at this awesome news which we believe is well deserved. We wish Chimeka many more wins in the coming years.

Chimeka Garricks

Chimeka Garricks was born in Dublin, and raised in Port Harcourt (the city which, like all first loves, still inexplicably holds his heart). He is the author of the acclaimed novel, ‘Tomorrow Died Yesterday’. He started writing short stories, and eventually, ‘A Broken People’s Playlist’ to avoid working on his second novel. He would rather choose soundtracks for movies or be a DJ, but lawyering, and, erm, writing a second novel stand in his way. He lives with his wife and three children in Lagos.
