I recently discovered this author last month and I found her writing really to down to earth, hilarious and the story relatable so I decided to go on a book hunt for what else she has written and I found this book.
This is a laugh out loud hilarious and enjoyable story about the Morton family. As someone who has been married for over 16 odd years, I could identify with Meg and Danny’s life and how kids, adulting and all things in-between can make you look at your life and wonder what it has become.
With it’s colorful characters including postman Pat, this book is a typical example of what I want from a feel-good read. I can’t think of a time while reading this book I wasn’t at least smiling. With a little mystery here, dramatic parents there and some pleasant and unpleasant surprises sprinkled all over it’s pages, I was highly entertained.
I recommend this book to all lovers of humor and realistic romance about a married couple. You will thank me for this one.

The Author: Kristen Bailey is a British writer and a graduate of Bristol University. She has a couple of books under her belt such as Souper Mom and Has Anyone Seen My Sex Life?. She is married to Nick and they have five Children.
